Niagara Workforce Planning Board, Niagara College and Brock’s Niagara Community…

  The Niagara Workforce Planning Board, Niagara College’s School of Business, and Brock University have formed a partnership that will see the three institutions collaborate on economic, business and labour research. The parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on June 12 stating a desire to combine their strengths to gain a fresh understanding of Niagara’s makeup and challenges, and identify new approaches for stimulating healthy growth in area communities. “The partnership is based on the shared values of responsiveness to the needs of the local community, a commitment to collaboration that celebrates and leverages the diverse perspectives and strengths of stakeholders, and pursuit of world-class research excellence,” says the MOU. NWPB's Region Building Series

We are excited to announce our new initiative: NWPB’s Region Building Series. The first event is being presented by PenFinancial Credit Union in partnership with Brock University Community Observatory, Niagara College, and the Niagara Region. The event is free and is being held at White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa on January 24th at 10am. Speakers Mario De Divitiis, Adam Durrant, Charles Conteh, Carol Phillips, and Mike Watt will be speaking on population and population retention in Niagara. Register for free through this link.
