Niagara's Workforce and COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic is creating economic and employment disruption in ways that are not familiar to the vast majority of us in Niagara. In the upcoming days and weeks, NWPB staff will be collecting economic and employment information, aggregating facts and figures, and sharing them with our partners in the community.

We will look to provide factual, but calm insight during this time of uncertainty and change. We are committed to working with our partners, and to offering our economic and employment insight at this challenging time. The story will be complex as businesses and employment patterns change. Our hope is that our work can be part of that larger effort working collectively across Niagara to assess options and supports that ensures future community prosperity and health.
