Employment Prospects Series

What is the Employment Prospects Series?

NWPB recognizes that access to information on job prospects plays an important role in helping employment service providers narrow down fields of interest for their clients. We provide our free Employment Prospects Series reports on this page to help our community partners in employment services find meaningful and gainful employment for their clients, and to help jobseekers refine their searches and target their training to the industries that match their interests.

With this data, we help employment service providers, educators, and job seekers answer questions such as:

  • Which jobs are in demand?
  • What is the average rate of pay being offered?
  • What is the level of training or average number of years of experience required?
  • How is job availability in top industries changing over time?

How can I access this information?

The Employment Prospects Series is a free service provided by NWPB to job seekers, employment service providers, educators, and any other community members interested in learning more about the local labour market.

We supply biweekly updates on job demand below, and monthly updates on our blog. If this series is of interest to you or your clients, you can also sign up to start receiving our quarterly reports direct to your inbox right now by entering your e-mail address into the form on the right-hand side of this page.
