Region Building Series

What is the Region Building Series?

The Region Building Series is an ongoing initiative by Niagara Workforce Planning Board, in partnership with Niagara College and Brock University’s Niagara Community Observatory. This project consists of a series of 3 to 4 presentations given throughout each year, representing a deeper dive into Niagara's population.

The series explores important data and research about Niagara’s demographics surrounding its labour-ready workforce, addressing such topics as cost of living, young families, labour mobility, and more. Speakers share data, showcase current initiatives, and generate discussion to collectively approach a sustainable workforce in Niagara.

Each presentation is based around a corresponding paper, all of which are available to read on this page.
